If you guys are far away from each other, you can use email to connect and make a deal, but still, schedule a meeting or at least be flexible about it. I would say you should offer that to the buyer in advance, it would look like a nice gesture, and the buyer will trust you more. If the product is fragile, do mention that on the box.
