I would advice you that if you are going for a luxury product, or converting a regular product to a luxury product, the first thing you need to consider is the target market, it is the most crucial step that you have to take in proper consideration. So, take your time on this one.
Luxury marketing often uses subtle and understated marketing tactics that emphasize the brand’s heritage, quality, and prestige. The focus is on creating a sense of desire and aspiration among the target audience. Regular marketing often employs more aggressive tactics, such as price discounts and promotions, to drive sales. But for luxury products, you have to market it using lifestyle impact, and the qualities that will enhance the status of the customer.

From the moment a customer interacts with the brand, to the point of purchase, the brand must provide a consistent and memorable experience that aligns with the brand’s prestige and exclusivity, if you have a Rolex watch or have ever watched an unboxing video of Rolex watch, you can understand what I am saying. Regular product marketing often focuses more on the product itself, rather than the customer experience.
I have observed that Luxury marketing is a complex and challenging field, requiring specialized knowledge and skills to effectively reach and engage with the target audience. Success in luxury marketing depends on a deep understanding of the target market, the brand, and the unique selling proposition that sets the brand apart from its competitors.
In conclusion, I would like to say that luxury marketing is different from regular marketing in terms of target audience, Strategy you will use for marketing, presentation of the product, and customer experience. Brands must have a well-defined marketing strategy that takes into account these differences in order to effectively market luxury products to the target audience.
