Stephen Hawking’s IQ was estimated at 160, placing him in the genius category. He was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) when he was 21 years old. He died at the age of 76 in 2018. With his intellect and the wide variety of topics that he studies, it isn’t hard to understand why some people think that Stephen Hawking possesses supernatural abilities. Here are some of the more out there future predictions made by Stephen Hawking according to his IQ.
Stephen Hawking predicted that an alien invasion would not happen anytime soon because they would have already invaded by now if they were able. He also said in his interview with the BBC that he was no expert on the topic of aliens, but since humans are still around and haven’t been killed off by superior intelligence, it is unlikely for them to be threatened. Stephen Hawking predicts there will be no world war III as long as nuclear weapons exist, which may continue indefinitely.
In an interview, Stephen Hawking predicted that climate change could lead to the extinction of the human race. He warned that we need to take action now to prevent this from happening. He said that we need to Streamline our energy use and find ways to Formalize renewable energy sources. He also said that we need to stop putting so much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. If we don’t act now, it could be too late. Global Warming is the main problem that we are facing now.
Another prediction according to Stephen Hawking’s IQ, is that robots will eventually dominate the human race. He based this claim on the fact that machines are becoming more and more intelligent, while humans are not evolving as quickly. In his book, he said: I believe there is no deep difference between what can be achieved by a biological brain and what can be achieved by a computer. Success in creating AI would be the biggest event in human history. Unfortunately, it might also be the last. Even though his predictions are unlikely, they are still interesting to think about!
Furthermore, Stephen Hawking predicted that if humans will meet aliens within the next 100 years and when we do, we should be very careful. He warned that they may not be friendly and could end up enslaving us. So it might be best to just make a run for it when they eventually show up. Or perhaps learn more about them in order to prepare ourselves better.
Stephen Hawking predicted that within the next years, humans will need to colonize other planets in order to survive. He cited overpopulation and dwindling resources as our main motivations for doing so. While he didn’t give any specifics about where we should go, he said we should explore at least some of them. We have already visited Mars and there is a possibility that we may find microbial life there. But I think it is unlikely that we will be able to colonize Mars because it is much further away than the moon.
